With overtones of cedarwood and oakmoss…undertones of geranium and graepfruit, this is definitely a soap with a masculine scent. However, some of us women wo love the “earthy” tones, favor this one as well. Myself included.
I love the color, a light tan/peach. Completely natural.
Annie’s Goat Hill Cedarwood Oakmoss goat milk soap has now been added to the online soap store.
Happy Monday!
Cedarwood Oakmoss just sounds appealing.
Joanna, I love the cedarwood, oatmoss, patchouli, “earthy” scents.
I was glad to see your “kids” doing well, pics on your blog yesterday.
I saw some pretty cabins while on a road trip Friday. Thought about you and Mike in your new place.
Interesting scents. Makes me more than a little curious!
They are, Becky.
I am addicted to trying essential oils. I would love to line an entire wall with them and really nice fragrances.
I am sure I would love this, I am a earthy scent gal myself :O)…always my favorites! This one sounds just wonderful!
Sandy, it is a nice scent.
I have already sold about 1/2 of the batch. There are going to be some happy people with new soap on Christmas morning!
Mary the soap looks beautiful!
Mary just a quick question. How do you get the soaps to come out with that beautiful lumpy look?Do you cover the soaps in a mold?
Mary, I got my order of soap for my kids stockings and was thrilled. They smell WONDERFUL…..so wonderful that I ordered more for me and my sister. Thank you so much! I can’t wait to get mine to try them all out. Long soaking baths are my favorite way to relax. Now it will be healthy for my skin too. Merry Christmas!
Thank you, Melissa. I do not know how I got the soap to adopt that look, Melissa. I used to try to avoid it. I would push the soap down in the mold, later I would cut and scrape. I thought I had to have clean lines. I then realized that the soap needed to reflect the natural state that it was. I do not make the wavy effect on purpose.
Hello, Susan. I am similar in the fact that a hot bath helps me to unwind. A few days ago I made a small jar of scrub for myself and headed directly to the tub, along with honey oatmeal soap. Afterwards I was relaxed enough to sleep like a baby the rest of the night.
I hope you and your sister are just as happy with your own package of soap! Loved your story. 🙂
Merry Christmas!
