I had a very enjoyable day today.
My husband has had knee problems recently. I join him on some of his job runs, in case he needs a driver for the return trip home. I truly enjoy his company.
As I waited for my husband to emerge from the muddy construction site today, I played with my mobile phone. I made a video of the chicken pen near our truck (after I shot the above photo).
When I went into my shop tonight to make soap I made several videos. It really was fun, and I want to share one of them with you. But I cannot figure what to save the videos to on the PC, what type of file, to ensure I can play them as a video (and eventually submit to the blog).
Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions, or perhaps a link to an educating site online?
Have a wonderful Friday!
All I know is that we downloaded our videos to YouTube, then can download them FROM YouTube to our blogs…we are still learning how to do this, but it can’t be that hard when half of the world can download and get videos on-line from their cell phones! Good luck Mary.
Hope your husband is doing much better.
Thank you, Kathy.
My PC is receiving the videos, but I cannot open them once they are downloaded.
I agree, half the world is doing it, so it shouldn’t be too difficult. Ha! I am a little slow at new thoughts/technology. Trying to stay on top is something else. About the time I think I have something figured out, it gets changed, and a new challenge opens. Oh well, it keeps us young, right?!
My husband’s knee(s) will likely need to be replaced. For now we are hoping shots will limp him through until we can manage the surgery a bit better. He has been in a lot of pain. I appreciate your thoughts and prayers.
Mary, ask a kid. They know everything.
Sorry to hear about the impending knee surgery. My husband has had a knee problem FOR YEARS, and he decided to start walking last winter. Wouldn’t you know, he’s had no more swelling, pain, soreness, nothing… Amazing! I know that Osteo-Biflex helped some. My prayers will be with you both this Thanksgiving.
Thank you, Debbie!
“Ask a kid,” LOL. My son used to roll his eyes at me, he is a computer and electronic whiz. Always a step ahead, that one is. I should ask him.
What operating system does your computer have?
I have Windows Vista. In my programs there is Windows Movie Maker.
Do you have this or maybe something similar?
I haven’t put a video on my blog before. But I think you would have to download your movie from your computer to YouTube and add the link to your blog.
Becky, I have Windows Vista. I will do a search for the Movie Maker program.
So tired tonight…and this computer is slow too. Ha. I think it is tired too.
I’ll try to suggestion. If that fails, I will go back to the manual for my phone.
Hi Mary,
Thanks for sharing this because I too am thinking about video taping some of the soaping events in my life. I was thinking of buying a flip camera because I hear it is super easy to use and can attach to the pc/laptop for quick upload.
Blessings to you and your husband. Hope surgery goes well and recovery is a breeze!
Hi Melissa! I have an idea of how to move the video along. I will share it here if it falls into place today! Cross your fingers. 🙂
Thank you for the well wishes!
Thanks for sharing, i want to share to how to download a video for free..
Thank you…I went to your website and saw the download information.
