A person never knows what they are going to see when driving along the remote, back-woods roads in southern Ohio.
As we came upon these outbuildings located on the side of the road, my husband, Bob, broke out in giggles.
I quickly spotted the numerous “Bob’s” and arrows, and the word Shorty (which I am lovingly called by my dear husband from time to time).
It was cute, funny, and added an extra touch of enjoyment to the ride.
Happy new year!
How cute! Bob and Shorty! I think it’s hilarious to find things like this. Makes me laugh.
Since posting this I began thinking a shorty is something tangible, like a type of building, but no results like that were found. Must have been a short Bob, or a Bob and a Shorty!
Tall Bob has one side? and Shorty has the other? 🙂
Joanna, Hhilarious!
country humor tends to be pretty unsophisticated and funny to me! love the outbuildings with hand painted signs –
Linda, and they were so neatly painted. It wasn’t like someone slapped up some spray paint, they really went to great efforts with the classy notes. Ha ha ha!
I am glad you got the photos to show us all. maybe someone will enlighten us as to what the signs were about, but it is more fun to speculate!
Why does Bob , or Shorty, have to point out which is his ( or hers) ?And is Shorty really short? Well Mary, are you? Is Shorty short because he was “bobbed” ?Is Bob pointing out HE is not a “Shorty” or that he might be short but Shorty is shorter? Is this short people discrimination? One could laugh a lot while speculating. Love the picture.
No enlightenment yet, Kathy, ha!
Yes, I am the shorty at 5’1/2″.
Laugh a “lot while speculating.” I like that thought!
Hmmm…and the pointing out that Bob might not be a “Shorty… .” Ha.
How cute! One never knows what they might see on a drive. A good thing you had your camera!
Hello, Jennifer. I hope you are doing well, the goats too!
I always have my camera on me, it is my phone these days. I still need to replace the camera that I dropped twice. Oops!
Makes me wonder what’s behind the Bob and Shorty story on the building.
I love driving back country roads!
Hello Becky!
It was a lot of fun.
Perhaps someday, someone will come along and be able to explain the Bob and Shorty. Until then…we will wonder. Ha!
