Today I arrived home a bit late. The animals knew I was late. I do believe they have internal sun clocks.
The deep glare of all of the hungry critters, accompanied by the time I spent away from the farm (enjoying a beautiful countryside ride), brought out sheer appreciation of my farm life this evening.
They were squealing…

Henrietta and Friends - Growing!
Caleb, our great Pyrenees mix, said…

I have been a good guard dog...now I am dancing for my food!
The cats were lined up at the gate…ready for warm goat milk…

More cats in the feed room…

Protecting the feed sacks...looking for a "live" snack...
Come on…are you going to feed us or take pictures all evening????

Left Camille (nubian), Right Carmella (nubian), Frosted ears in front (nubian/boer) Ms. Red
And the beautiful nubian that is finally beginning to grow…

Amelie - Whom greets me with kisses on the chin and a nubian hum every day.
And those that seem to be expanding way too much…a boer doe that looks ready to pop…could not possibly have been bred in June!

Valentine - Going to need her own personal electric scooter soon!
What a troop they are! I love them all.
Have a wonderful Friday!

Awwww…they’re beautiful! What a sweet animal family!
A happy crew just waiting for “Mom” to get down to business, feeding them!
They were fun last night. I laughed at a few of them. They were hungry, yet, almost sickening sweet!
Thanks, Debbie and Kathy.
Thanks for posting all the pictures. It’s fun to see the gang!
Debbie
Every once in a while I can get pictures in of the crew, Debbie.
The animals are not my family, but I do get a giggle out of myself because they feel that way to me from time to time!
My animals always know when I am late!! As soon as they see movement they start hollering!! Or if we have been gone and pull up in the car they are lined up at the fene hollering at us!!lol
They are part of our family here.. We don’t even remember what it was like before the animals!!
That would be Fence Not Fene!!
Funny how they line up and holler, Tonia! Life without the animals would seem a bit empty, wouldn’t it?
My horses always know when it’s feeding time. The loiter around the paddock, which is where they are fed. And as soon as a door on the house opens they start talking.
I love my critters. I can’t imagine a life without them.
Becky, I suppose we are blessed in more than one way. 🙂
Loved the pictures! My, that white doe is getting rather wide, the comment about needing her own scooter made me laugh. Hope things are going well for you!
Jennifer, I looked at her again yesterday, the wide white doe. She is even larger. As relaxed as I am after raising goats for a number of years, her size scares me somewhat. Ha! I keep thinking, if she isn’t pregnant, what sort of weird disease would make her that wide? Of course, there isn’t anything.
I hope things are going well for you too!
Hi. Very interesting Post. Not really what i have searched over Google, but thanks for the information.
Thank you, Odille. I post about the animals from time to time here. You may find something more of interest when I do.
