Welcome to the world, Elizabeth. Sleep peacefully.
Conviction…Mary’s definition. You are at peace, knowing that everything is right in the world (despite the ups and downs). You speak with passion. You are filled with thankfulness. You want to climb mountains. Yet, you absorb the peace, because peace is good for your soul. You are glued to your virtues. They have proven themselves beyond measure.
Conviction…doing what you know is right. Because it works.
Knowing to keep your mind open to transitioning whenever the road changes. It will change. So will you. What is proven, convictions, what is good…remains rock solid.
Have a wonderful Friday! I hope to do the same.
Oh! Mary! What a beautiful Friday sentiment. And just what I needed to hear. And so true.
I love this part best:
“You are glued to your virtues. They have proven themselves beyond measure.”
Thank you!
So cute! And sleeping peacefully. Congratulations to you and your family.
Hope you have a great day, too!
Alix, simply speaking what I feel this morning. Thank you!!
New life always amazes me, Becky. Thank you for your congratulations. I hope you have a great day too!
Well spoken. I assume that you were pleased with your experience yesterday. Good!
Congrats:She’s beautiful. Something else to celebrate this season!
Debbie
Hello, Debbie! Yesterday went very well. The questions were remarkable. There is a lot to be thankful for this season!
Congratulations! The word “conviction” is a word that itself seems …well…convicting. When one reads the definition it is clear to me if something I proclaim a “conviction” is really just a convenience to be cast off at the first moment of difficulty in following through, does this make sense?
Have a wonderful weekend Mary, you must be glowing with joy!
How very sweet! Welcome little Elizabeth!
I like the “sticks like glue” part, too. Good post, Mary!
Vickie…rock solid…glue!!! Sticking with it!! 🙂
Kathy, I believe that makes sense. Here is another definition that I found online via Google search: an unshakable belief in something without need for proof or evidence .
I agree…not to be cast off at the first sign of inconvenience.
Great analogy!
By the way, I normally know when comments are left via my email. You were cast in my spam folder today. You got passed up! 🙂 Thankfully, it was ony temporary.
How beautiful Mary! I like the doing what is right part. It makes your heart feel good to follow your convictions. There is always inner peace. Have a wonderful weekend.
She is so beautiful Mary, Congrats to you and your family.
Thank you, Delores. All is good!
