The county line sign less than a mile away from our house. I think the saying "If it ain't chained down..." really applies here! And always brings forward a chuckle.

Ha ha! Those country signs do have a way of disappearing, so the chain must be needed.
I have an Aunt who lives on ‘Nirvana Lane’, and they cannot keep a sign of I.D. on their street !
There must be a lot of brave souls out there with street signs in their homes (or kid’s bedrooms).
I remember a girl that had the flasher lights in her room. I think I was about 13 at the time. The lights I am referring to are those that sit on top of road barriers. When you think about it, it was rather dangerous for her to have collected them!!!
That’s funny!
Wonder how many times it’s been stolen or blew away?
I’d pinch that for sure! ;D
