Here is some very important information that I am passing on to you because it definitely works, and we could all use a little more calmness in our lives. By following the simple advice I heard on a talk show, you too can find inner peace. The doctor on the show proclaimed, “The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started and have never had the time to finish.”
I thought about this for the longest time. I then looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn’t found the time to finish. I decided that today was the day to change, so before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a 2-liter bottle of Mt. Dew, a bottle of some alcoholic beverage, a package of Oreo’s, a pound package of peanut M&M’s, the rest of last night’s strawberry cheesecake, some Doritos, and a box of chocolate truffles left over from Valentine’s day.
I really think that doctor knew what he was talking about because you have no idea how amazingly great I feel right now. I can’t wait to see what I can finish tomorrow!

If I “finished” all of that I think I would be sick for a week…but I would certainly think I felt that inner peace for a while! Ha ha ha!
I am still working on rearranging the categories on this blog. Thought a humor category post here and there ought to be good for many of us!

Oink, Oink!
Ha ha! Very funny! Guess sometimes we can take good advice way too literally, but hey, sounds like a good excuse to over-indulge. Think I have some ice cream bars left……
Just my kind of humor – silly and poking fun at all the self improvement gurus. Yep – finish what we start so I have the rest of a cake and some whipped cream to get after – see ya!
Yep, indulge, don’t over-indulge…ha ha ha.
Tomorrow’s post throws a new (serious) healthy twist into things, and then Sunday is rather comical (another self-help). It is everywhere these days.
Take care!
Cute post!
I’d be sick right along with you.
But it sure would feel good going down!
Uha-ha 🙂
Thanks for this piece of bright humor!
